Power Apps and Power Automate in a day - App design patterns and flow buttons -- Register
HERE.This one-day training is provided by a Microsoft Business Solutions MVP, Daniel Christian, who is one the first-five MVPs in the world to specialize in these Power Platform products and focuses his attention on Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI Integration. Daniel has worked with Power Apps and Power Automate since 2016 when they were in still in preview. Daniel has firsthand seen these products evolve and has provided the Microsoft Product team feedback to help improve the products you see today. Having helped mentor power users across the globe Daniel has first-hand seen how the Power Platform has been used to improve daily tasks and will be sharing this insight with you during the workshop.
This is a beginner to intermediate level class meant for makers who have built a few apps using the out-of-box forms and are now interested in improving the UI and UX design patterns to make the app more user-friendly and reduce end-user mistakes. In the second half we'll look at building some Power Automate flows using buttons.
App design patterns:
In this section we'll build an elegant canvas app to submit, edit and delete data. Our primary focus will be on the design features such as:
• Adding shadows, icons, headers, footers, ETC.
• Improving the look and feel of data cards in galleries
• Controls
• Pop-up messages
